Once again Methuen charities were well represented by great people who care. Here is a brief synopsis of what happened once cards hit the felt tonight.

Kingsley Lough, playing for St. Anns Home didn't get any cards tonight. He went all in with the best hand only to lose on the river. 6th place.

Bernie Kelly, playing for Dollars For Scholars finished 5th. He moved all in short stacked, but his hand didn't improve on the flop, turn or river.

Nate Retelle, playing for The Rachelle Poulin Bone Marrow Transplant Fund played aggressive early. He stole many blinds accumlating chips at the beginning. He was felted when he went all in on a straight draw. Unfortunately for him Todd "Whoopie" Reeves had a straight. 4th place.

Kyle DeFrancesco, playing for the J.D. Memorial Fund finished 3rd. Kyle, part of Methuen's greatest poker family, played well. Reeves sucked out on the river to send DeFrancesco packing.

Mickey DeFrancesco,(Methuen's queen of poker) playing for The Dream Factory, Methuen's Chapter Of The Make A Wish Foundation was the early chip leader. Mrs. D showed why she dominates in Methuen's high stakes cash games. Unfortunately for her, Reeves kept eliminating everyone. In doing so he became the chip leader. Mrs. D. finished 2nd.

And the winner is, Todd "Whoopie" Reeves, playing for The Methuen Booster Athletic Association. Reeves started slow, but dominated after the break, winning hand after hand. Congratulations Todd! We'll see you at The Tournament Of Champions.

Again, We'd like to thank the crew at Methuen Community Television, MCTV. You are the best. Also, thank you Steve Gavin for dealing for us.

If you'd like to be on Chips For Charity, email us at info@jteamradio.com. It's your chance to play Texas Hold Em on tv.

I have to admit I was wrong about the Celtics. 7 more wins and they'll be NBA Champions for the 17th time.

Last night was probably their best game of the playoffs so far. Kevin Garnett showed why he was defensive player of the year. KG also lit it up offensively. Rondo outplayed the much hyped Billups.

This should be a great series. I am worried about a few things. When is Ray Allen going to start hitting outside shots? It better be soon.

Let there be no mistake about my apology. The Celtics WILL have to win a game in Detroit in order to win this series. Despite what everyone is saying they WON'T go 16-12 winning all their home games. You can take that to the bank.

As Pete from North Andover once said, "I'm Out."

I think Boston matches up better with Detroit than any other team they have faced so far in the playoffs. Plus they have HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!!! Who said they couldn't get to the finals without winning on the road!!!
